Privacy Policy

Built Revenue (“we”) operates builtrevenue.com and a small set of internal tools, including Local Media Desk, that Built Revenue uses to run its own consulting work. This policy explains what those tools access and what we do with it.

What the internal tools access

Local Media Desk is used only by Built Revenue staff on their own accounts. When an account holder signs in with Google, it requests read-only access to Google Calendar (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly). It reads calendar events—times, titles, attendees and meeting links—to recognize upcoming meetings, prompt the account holder before a meeting is recorded on their own computer, and prepare internal meeting notes. It cannot create, change or delete calendar events, and it does not request access to email, files or contacts.

How the data is used and stored

• Calendar data is used only to provide those features to the account holder who granted access.
• Sign-in credentials are stored in protected storage on the account holder’s own computer. Calendar events are read when needed and are not sold, rented or shared with third parties.
• Meeting summaries and follow-up items derived from meetings may be stored in Built Revenue’s own systems to manage client work. Recording always requires the account holder’s explicit confirmation for each meeting.
• Google user data is not used for advertising and is not used to train generalized AI models.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Local Media Desk’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Website visitors

builtrevenue.com records basic, aggregate page-view information to understand how the site is used. Information you send us directly, such as a booking request or an email, is used to respond to you.

Your choices

You can revoke Local Media Desk’s access at any time from your Google Account’s third-party access settings. To ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted, email brian@builtrevenue.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above will change with it.
